CROSS COUNTRY CAMP '99

The Sparta High Cross Country team went to camp August 9-13. They stayed at The Leelanau School on the shores of Lake Michigan in Glen Arbor. Attending the camp were 18 boys, 12 girls, 2 alumni, 1 adult chaperone, 3 high school cross country coaches, 1 junior high cross country coach, and 1 assistant track coach. Using the Paavo training method, everyone ran a lot of miles at camp, led by Matt Korreck's 85 miles. The team returned to Glen Arbor in October for a fall color tour.
