Sparta High School Cross Country 2010

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

The boys placed 6th in the State Finals.

The boys earned Academic All-State team honors.

Adam Birkeland earned Academic All-State individual honors.

The boys placed 2nd in the Regional and the girls placed 4th.

Regional medals were earned by Jake Gilman, A.J. Christafferson and Alesha Reed.

Both boys and girls tied for 2nd in the OK Blue Conference.

Earning All-Conference honors were Jake Gilman, Brandon George, A. J. Christafferson,
Alesha Reed and Kelsey Thome. Honorable Mention honors went to Adam Birkeland and Alycia Wright.

The boys placed 1st at the Allegan Tigershark Invitational.

Both boys and girls placed 1st at the Spring Lake Invitational.

Jake Gilman earned 4th place (16:16) on the Top 10 boys school record board.

Brandon George earned 8th place (16:24) on the Top 10 boys school record board.

Allison Scheidel earned 8th place (19:39) on the Top 10 girls school record board.
